Launch of Canada Humanitarian Initiatives

On February 1st, we proudly celebrated the official launch of the Canada Humanitarian Initiatives Organization, honoring humanitarian achievements in Canada. The event, attended by distinguished guests from Toronto, highlighted the importance of unity and support for immigrant and vulnerable communities.

Prominent figures, including the Ambassador of Afghanistan, Member of Parliament Iqra Khalid, media representatives, civil society activists, and community leaders, came together to emphasize the critical need for collaboration in addressing humanitarian challenges and supporting newcomers in Canada.

This gathering not only recognized past accomplishments but also served as a platform for meaningful dialogue and collective brainstorming on how to enhance support for vulnerable populations. With ongoing commitment, we aim to take further impactful steps toward improving the lives of immigrants and refugees.

Current Initiatives & Projects

We are very pleased to have the opportunity to come together and discuss one of the most important and impactful issues faced by newcomers: family challenges arising from a lack of awareness about the culture and laws of the new society.

Living in a new environment can be an exciting yet challenging experience. Cultural changes, unfamiliarity with new structures and laws, and sometimes differences in values and expectations can affect family relationships and even lead to misunderstandings. The aim of this session is to create a safe space for open dialogue, empathy, and learning from each other’s experiences.

Along the way, we seek to identify practical and adaptable solutions to the new circumstances and work in a way that ensures these changes are not a threat to family relationships but rather an opportunity for growth and strengthening them.We sincerely thank all of you for dedicating your valuable time to participating in this session.

Canada Humanitarian Initiatives (CHI) .

On November 24th, the first official meeting of the Canada Humanitarian Initiatives (CHI) organization was held with the heartfelt and dedicated presence of all colleagues. This valuable effort reflects the unwavering determination of all members of the organization to bring about positive and constructive changes in people’s lives.

In conclusion, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all friends and colleagues who, with pure intentions and a genuine spirit of goodwill, accompany and collaborate on this challenging yet rewarding journey. It is our hope that through collective and coordinated efforts, we can take meaningful steps towards supporting our beloved fellow citizens.
